When you find yourself checking your phone every 15 minutes it is time to read this.

Focus at work. Find flow.

What helped me.

  1. Turn off all notifications.
  2. Uninstall time consuming apps like Facebook, Tindr and Instagram.
  3. Leave mobile in different room while working.
  4. Prefer chatting over phone calls. Use asynchronicity in your advance.
  5. Use pomodoro technique and focus for 30 minutes slots.
  6. The best is to compare with others. You have to realize, that there are people able to focus and work for 12–14 hours. You will never beat them if you can not focus for 4 hours. Compare with them and take it as an inspiration but don’t envy.
  7. Consistency is the key. To everything, healthy lifestyle.
  8. Make your tasks not boring by matching it to your skills but still challenging.
  9. Write your tasks down. On paper excel or khan ban board.
  10. Turn off domains on your mac that you know are just consuming your time.
